The Institute for Supply Management – Northern Virginia (ISM-NVA) is a progressive, not-for-profit organization that exists to educate, develop, and advance the purchasing and supply management profession. Led by an all volunteer Board of Directors, we will provide our fellow members educational resources, professional networking opportunities, and career management tools. Members of ISM-NVA will be recognized as world-class professionals.

Your time is valuable. We want to make our meetings productive and relevant, with start and end at times that are respectful of our membership’s busy schedules.
We understand that the last thing many of our members may want to do is commute a long distance in rush hour traffic at the end of the work day. The metropolitan area is a large territory. While we can’t guarantee that our meetings will always be able to be close to your home or work location, we are open to alternative venues for meetings so that we can be close to your Northern Virginia location at least part of the time.

One of the fundamental principles of our organization will be to be open to the suggestions of the membership. We encourage you to be vocal in what you need from our affiliate.
